ABOUT US
Huntington Valley Arts Inc. is a non-profit organization devoted to the development of contemporary arts and the preservation of rural crafts in the Huntington Valley area. It is our mission to contribute to the community by offering educational opportunities and exhibitions in appreciation and celebration of these arts and artisans.
HVA has had a deep connection to their community since their start in 1998.

1998
The First Huntington Valley Arts Festival
1999
May: Huntington Valley Arts, Inc. incorporated with the state of Vermont
September: Second Annual Living Arts Festival
December: HVA began discussion of the possible renovation and use of the Huntington Town Hall as a shared arts center with gallery space.
2000
March: HVA received advance ruling for 501 (c)(3) nonprofit status from the IRS
May: HVA potluck dinner/music night for artisans and families held at the Audubon barn
September: Third Annual Living Arts Festival
2001
January: HVA supported Live at the Bread music series (at Daily Bread) with a grant for publicity; HVA donor advised grant to support after school clay workshops at Brewster Pierce
April: HVA cosponsored and Odyssey of the Mind fundraiser
June: HVA sponsored the application for a license with the FCC for a low power radio service, a LP100station as proposed by Jack Fleischer and Eldin Kelley
June: HVA awarded a grant in support of “Spirit of Place” sculpture exhibit
September: Fourth Annual Living Arts Festival
2002
January: HVA designated donor grant to fund after school clay workshops at Brewster Pierce
May: HVA grant to help fund Tai Chi workshops at Brewster Pierce
June: HVA sponsored a booth for local artisans at the Richmond Farmer’s Market
