GRANT INFORMATION
Huntington Valley Arts, Inc. exists to encourage and promote the development of artists, art projects and art education. It works to connect our arts community with our local community as a whole, and emphasizes the importance of the public sharing and celebration of art processes and finished works. At this time, HVA is in a position to offer aid to individuals or organizations seeking financial support for art projects and/or arts education.
A wide range of proposals will be considered for aid including, but not limited to sculpture, painting, photography, ceramics, woodworking, glass working, fiber arts, film, theater, literature, poetry, music, dance or any endeavor that demonstrates a celebration of the creative spirit. Grants range from $100 to $500. Priority is given to those programs that offer a public awareness of the value of artistic expression.
Grant application: Send a written description of your project or program, explaining its purpose and how it relates to HVA’s grant mission. Include a budget with an estimate of the cost and the scope of the project and what other resources might be available to support the program. Please also share how your project will give back to the community. Some examples of this are: a free performance or free spots in a workshop. We are happy to brain storm additional ideas with you.
